Paul Wawrynek – General Manager

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Paul is a graduate of Xaverian High School and Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Hotel Restaurant School. In college he played Division I Tennis for the Knights, was the President and Founder of the Club Managers Student Chapter at FDU and was the President of the Hotel Society. In college he interned at the Lowell hotel and Alpine Country Club. At Alpine, he started his country club career teaching tennis and learning all aspects of the food and beverage program, eventually becoming Dining Room Manager. With the renovation of Alpine, he furthered his career as the Food and Beverage Manager at Essex County Country Club. In 2007 he joined the team at Fairmount as the Clubhouse Manager, worked his way to Assistant General Manager and took on the General Manager role in 2012. He is an active Member of the Club Managers Association of America, NJ Club Managers Association and the CMAA International Wine Society.

Troy Goldberg – Assisant Manager

Upon graduating from the County College of Morris with a Hospitality Management degree in 2005, Troy began his career by working at Baltusrol Golf Club, one of the most prestige clubs in the entire world. While at Baltusrol, Troy learned how to be a hospitality profession by assisting with fine dining, banquets, and outings. Troy became part of the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) which helped him grow his career with assistance from other hospitality professionals. Troy received his first Management job down in Deal, NJ at Hollywood Golf Club. There he learned how to manage staff, create schedules, create food and beverage menus, and conduct effective training methods. All of Troy’s hard work payed off when he was selected to be the Assistant General Manager of Fairmount Country Club in Chatham, NJ. While at Fairmount, Troy learned how to effectively manage inventory, increase the club’s liquor and wine programs, and manage the club’s payroll. Troy’s energy and passion for his work has helped him succeed and has created a warm, comfortable environment in and around the club.
